Acceptance
By using Paperclip you agree to these terms. Paperclip is the legal business name under which we operate. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The Service
Paperclip is a deal management tool for content creators. We may modify or discontinue features at any time with reasonable notice.
Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when signing up. You must be at least 16 years old to use Paperclip.
Billing
The Pro subscription is billed monthly through Polar.sh. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We will give 30 days notice before changing prices for existing subscribers. Founding member pricing is locked in permanently as long as the subscription remains active and uninterrupted.
Acceptable Use
You may not use Paperclip to violate any law, attempt to reverse engineer the service, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, or use the service for anything other than managing your own creator business.
Your Content
You own the data you enter into Paperclip. We do not claim ownership over your deal information, notes, or any other content you create. You grant us a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the service.
Disclaimers
Paperclip is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, income, or business resulting from use of the service.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paperclip's total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 3 months prior to the claim.
Changes to Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Eligibility
As a consumer, you have the right to cancel your agreement and request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day after completion of the transaction.

Cancellation
Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and no further charges will be made.

What We Collect
When you create an account we collect your email address and name. When you use the service we store the deal data, notes, and other content you enter. We collect basic usage data such as features used and session information to improve the product. We do not collect payment information directly — payments are handled by Polar.
How We Use Your Data
We use your data to provide and improve the service, send you product updates and account-related emails, and respond to support requests. We do not use your data for advertising.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with service providers necessary to operate Paperclip, including Supabase for database hosting and Polar for payment processing. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only to provide their services to us.
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data including encrypted connections and secure cloud infrastructure. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights contact us at the email below. If you are located in the EU or UK, you have additional rights under GDPR and UK GDPR including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.
Cookies
Paperclip uses only essential cookies required for authentication and session management. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We may update this policy at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email.
