Creator Retainer Contract Template

CREATOR RETAINER AGREEMENT

This Agreement is entered into on [Date] between [Creator Name] ("Creator") and [Brand Name] ("Brand").

Brand is retaining Creator on an ongoing basis to provide the following each month:

Retainer term: [Start Date] through [End Date]

Renewal: [Automatic renewal / Manual renewal / Month-to-month]

At the start of each monthly cycle, Brand will provide a brief or content priorities for the upcoming deliverables.

The monthly retainer includes only the number and type of deliverables listed in this Agreement. Additional videos, reshoots, new campaign concepts, or rush requests are billed separately at [Rate or Fee Structure].

Unused deliverables at the end of a monthly cycle will [Expire / Roll Over / Be handled as agreed in writing].

Creator will deliver drafts within [Number] business days of receiving the necessary brief, product, and assets.

The monthly retainer includes up to [Number] round(s) of revisions per deliverable. Feedback must be provided within [Number] business days of draft delivery. Delayed feedback may shift the final delivery timeline.

Usage rights for all deliverables created under this retainer are as follows:

Any paid usage, whitelisting, licensing beyond the agreed term, or renewal after the original usage window must be agreed in writing and paid separately unless expressly included above.

Brand agrees to pay Creator a recurring retainer fee of [Monthly Fee] [Currency] per month.

Payment is due on [Date each month / Start of each cycle / Net Terms].

If payment is not received by the due date, Creator may pause upcoming deliverables until the account is brought current. Late payments may incur [Late Fee Terms], where permitted by law.

Brand remains responsible for payment for all work completed or reserved before the termination date. Any prepaid amounts are non-refundable once the monthly cycle has started unless otherwise agreed in writing.
